Gyokuro Joy

As a long-time drinker of loose-leaf Gyokuro, I was surprised by the quality of these tea bags, which are so large that they can be used for multiple brewings. The leaves are of such high quality that afterwards I open the tea bags and eat the leaves, seasoned with lemon juice and soy sauce.

I have to pace myself

I am not a connoisseur, but this is one of the best teas I've ever had. It is subtle and flavorful, great for all its nuances.

The taste is sublime. I have tried many different high quality green teas from Japan and while they are all excellent I sometimes lose interest in the flavor, and I always come back to Ippodo.
