Comfortably large heat-resistant glass teapot for all sorts of teas
In contrast to the Ivory Kyusu and Yakishime Kyusu teapots that are custom-designed to bring out the best in Ippodo teas, this is an all-purpose teapot suitable for all sorts of teas.
For someone likes to drink a variety of teas, Japanese green tea from Ippodo is one of the variations that makes teatime a pleasure. We recommend this as a suitable everyday teapot for preparing all sorts of teas.
Glass teapots make it fun to watch the tea leaves while the tea brews. Japanese green tea is very close to newly-picked tea, and the vivid green of the unfurling leaves shows how full of vigor they are. Seeing the tea brew adds visual delight to the process of preparing tea.
Plenty of space for teabags
Watch the tea leaves unfurl!
Makes a good pitcher
Even if you use your usual kyusu teapot to prepare the tea, the glass teapot makes a good pitcher.
Box with teapot motif
A box with a teapot motif makes this a good present.
Low-key white logo
Ippodo logo begins to stand out when the tea gains color.

I love this little teapot. It’s the perfect size for me and adds an elegance to tea drinking.
I recently switched from drinking bagged tea to brewing loose green tea and this teapot allows me to easily brew pot after pot without making a huge mess! I like cold, iced green tea and with this glass teapot I can brew up to one liter of green tea for my glass carafe and keep to keep in the fridge. Plus when I want hot tea to enjoy it is nice to be able to make a pot for my family and I to enjoy. Because of this tea pot my daughter has increased her green tea drinking greatly which has made me extremely happy! Thank You Ippodo!
The rubber gasket that seals the filter to the glass after you put the lid on is a little too small for the size of the jar and so if I'm not careful I can get smaller leaf bits into my cup, but honestly if I hold the lid forward a smidge when I pour, then it's not a problem at all.
As long as I hold it right (it's very very easy to hold it right), then this glass teapot is so lovely and awesome.
