Q. Do I have to create an account (register) in order to buy products?
- You can check out as a guest if you prefer. Just enter your information manually on the checkout page, or use the autofill feature of your preferred payment method.
- If you register, it will make your purchase next time as easy as logging in with your username. Also, you will have the chance to sign up for our newsletter highlighting special teas and featuring fun ways to enjoy our items.
- Since the Ippodo Global Online Shop is a separate registry, we ask you to please register a separate account for the Ippodo USA & Canada Online Shop.
Q. I forgot my password. What should I do?

Q. I didn't receive a confirmation email message from the Ippodo Online Shop when I created an account / placed an order.
Possible causes are:
- The message may have been labeled as junk mail, and automatically trashed or sorted into another folder.
- The mail filtering settings or anti-malware software on your device may be blocking our email. Please check that you can accept email from: email@example.com
- The email address we have on record for you may not be correct.

Q. How can I refer back to products that I bought in the past?
Please confirm that information on the following web page. Note: If you just want to re-order the same thing as before, you can do so more easily by using our 're-order' option.
Q. Can I ship to multiple recipients in the same order?
You can only ship to one recipient per order on the Ippodo Online Shop, so please order separately for each recipient you wish to ship products to. (Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.)
Q. Can I buy products that are not displayed on the Online Shop?
No, products that are not displayed on our Online Shop cannot be purchased online.
Q. Do you offer gift wrapping?
- All our items on the Ippodo USA & Canada Online Shop are shipped in secure packaging with no gift wrapping.
- Gift wrapping is available on the Ippodo Global Online Shop, which also ships to the USA and Canada. Prices and shipping times will vary.

- Items available are a tailored selection of Ippodo’s most beloved teas and utensils.
Q. Can I buy ____ item on the Ippodo USA & Canada Online Shop?
- At the start of this new website, we have a tailored selection of Ippodo’s most beloved teas and utensils for sale.
- For the entire selection of Ippodo teas, in cans and packages of all sizes, teabags, utensils, and more, please select from the Global Online Shop. Prices and shipping times will vary.
- If the item you are looking for is not available (yet!), let us know via the contact us page, or live chat, and we will look into adding it to our selection in the future.
Q. Why are the prices different on the USA & Canada Online Shop and the Global Online Shop?
- We ship all of our items directly from Kyoto to our stock locations in the United States. As a result, the prices on our USA & Canada Online Shop reflect these shipping and exporting/importing costs. The Global Online Shop features our items at the same price as sold in Japan—however, shipping and handling costs will be more and the shipping time will be longer in comparison.
