This 100g bag has a sealable closure, a wide opening for easy scooping, and a simple open-and-use design. Choose this size for convenient everyday matcha use, and for preparing a lot of matcha at once for a group.

Ikuyo is a balanced matcha with astringency, umami, and sweetness in proportion. Its medium-light body is joined by a gentle, but bright aroma, like sun-dried straw. As usucha, it is a good option for everyday teatime, served straight and with cookies, cakes, or other sweets. One of our top recommendations for a matcha latte, Ikuyo has slight astringency that pairs well with the milk, and its bright green color makes for a photogenic beverage.

Favorite every day matcha

I use this one nearly every morning. The flavor is wonderful and you can’t beat the price for the amount you get. An absolute necessity!

Great, balanced matcha!

I've tried a lot—and I mean a LOT of matcha over the years, whether at home or at a cafe. All the ippodo matchas I've tried have been really good, way better quality than any matcha I've had in any cafe! Out of all the ippodo matchas, Ikuyo is a classic. It's well balanced and makes a really good matcha latte, pairs really well with milks. If you're trying out matcha for the first time or gifting, or just want an affordable everyday matcha, this is a good place to start!

Delicious

This matcha powder is beautiful, vibrant and tastes delicious. I made the mistake of not sifting once… you cannot get away with not sifting this powder. Still, that was my mistake. I will happily buy again!

Great tasting matcha

I had never had matcha but I read about the health benefits and was interested in trying it. I did a ton of research and from what the research said, Ippodo is one of the best. I decided that if I am going to try something new, I might as well try one of the best matchas. They weren’t wrong. This matcha is sweet, creamy and delicious. I enjoy having a cup of it the morning!
