A limited holiday release, this set pairs our robust sencha Kaboku, with the completely handmade Yakishime Kyusu.

Size 8.7" × 3.7" × 5.1"
  • Kaboku Sencha - 90g Can
  • Yakishime Kyusu (8oz)

Sencha is the most classic Japanese green tea, and Kaboku is Ippodo’s most premium blend of sencha. Over the holidays, we often look for a hearty, robust sencha to warm up with. Kaboku has enough depth and richness to feel satisfying on even the coldest winter day. Enjoyable on its own, or paired with sugar cookies, rum pudding, cakes, and other holiday desserts.

The feel and artisanry of a kyusu plays an important role in how we experience tea. Our completely handmade Yakishime Kyusu is unglazed on the outside, giving it a soft, textured feel. Its glazed interior, a unique feature, allows you to easily clean tea leaves out after use. Additionally, its small and wide shape is carefully designed to draw out the precious essence of premium gyokuro and sencha teas.
