As Japanese tea specialists in Kyoto since 1717, we produce 6 regular blends of matcha, each with its own character. This bundle is your chance to try our two most popular matchas and stock up for the holidays.

In the bundle:

Full-bodied and robust. Ummon has a powerful umami, deep emerald green color, and sweet aroma. This matcha is a treat to be savored.

Recommended serving: Try Ummon straight at least once to experience its full complexity. In a latte, its richness combines with the creaminess of the milk, making an almost buttery, decadent treat.

Full-bodied and balanced. Our first recommendation for people new to our matcha, Sayaka has plentiful natural sweetness and umami, balanced by a hint of bitterness.

Recommended serving: Most drink Sayaka in a latte, where you can expect a smooth finish that melds seamlessly with the milk. Sayaka is also delicious straight, where it presents a clean taste and a long finish.

Note: Serve these matchas side-by-side for a comparison, or enjoy each one at a time. When serving guests, our Tea Bowl with Spout – White (Mino-yaki) is convenient for whisking a large batch of matcha to pour into cups.
