BAR NONE! The Only brand I trust is Ippodo Tea Company. I used to go to Japan every year and so I had a tons of stash. Then started last year 2025 I decided no more flying for me . too much stress for me whenever I stepped in any airport here in the USA. I am 64 years old that is why I am giving myself a well deserved break from any flights at all for now. A Heartfelt Thanks to this Ippodo Tea company for making a safe, healthy goodness of Sencha Tea & Matcha. I feel so blessed taking every sip of my Sencha Tea each day.

The Best!

My daughter brought me two boxes of tea when she came home for Christmas from Tokyo. I am absolutely in love with this tea. The Sencha is my favorite blend. I appreciate being able to get more here in the US because my Christmas gift is long gone! I also look forward to visiting the Ippodo Tea house when I visit Tokyo this summer.

Just as outstanding as what I was gifted in Japan

I really don't like green tea. This is so different from what is typical green tea in the USA. Sencha tea has a smooth taste when drinking and no bitter aftertaste. Almost a buttery smoothness. I was astounded to find the IPPODO Sencha tea available online here. The unique shape of the tea bags really helps it steep better. I can get 3 or 4 cups from 1 tea bag. Love that it is also available in the individual packets, great for travel and sharing one to a friend to try. Everyone I have shared with agrees it's an amazing tea. Thanks for making it and keeping the quality high. Excellent Japanese craftsmanship as always.

Wonderful Respite

Absolutely LOVE this tea!

From my first taste of Ippodo tea when my daughter brought me a package as a Christmas gift from Tokyo, I was hooked. Was excited to find that I could order the tea myself from their US location. My favorite is the Sencha but I also enjoy an occasional cup of Hojicha. I drink other green teas as well, but the Ippodo is an exceptional rich tea to enjoy!
