Thanks to this tea, I’ve been making my own matcha latte’s at home. By itself, very pleasant and balanced flavor. I absolutely love adding some oat milk and a touch of agave. I will be reordering.

Great tea!
Finding great Sencha Tea often can be a challenge. Ippodo's Sencha Teabags make a cup of tea with a fresh and crisp taste. It is the perfect start to my morning, and it makes a delicious iced tea on hot days.
I've also bought the sampler box. Their teas are all delicious, but the Sencha is my favorite.

The Best!
My daughter brought me two boxes of tea when she came home for Christmas from Tokyo. I am absolutely in love with this tea. The Sencha is my favorite blend. I appreciate being able to get more here in the US because my Christmas gift is long gone! I also look forward to visiting the Ippodo Tea house when I visit Tokyo this summer.

Just as outstanding as what I was gifted in Japan
I really don't like green tea. This is so different from what is typical green tea in the USA. Sencha tea has a smooth taste when drinking and no bitter aftertaste. Almost a buttery smoothness. I was astounded to find the IPPODO Sencha tea available online here. The unique shape of the tea bags really helps it steep better. I can get 3 or 4 cups from 1 tea bag. Love that it is also available in the individual packets, great for travel and sharing one to a friend to try. Everyone I have shared with agrees it's an amazing tea. Thanks for making it and keeping the quality high. Excellent Japanese craftsmanship as always.

Authentic and delicious Japanese tea!
I tried Sencha tea in the cafe at Morgan Library and Museum while visiting NYC and loved it! I was happy to find it so easily online. It's a flavorful yet mild tea that I enjoy every afternoon. Ippodo is a beautifully packaged brand and authentically made in Japan. I'm going to gift one of my packages to a friend who had a wonderful trip to Japan last year!

Takes me back to Kyoto
While in Kyoto last Spring, I was able to visit the main Ippodo tea store on two occasions. What a wonderful place to immerse myself in all things Japanese green tea. Upon returning to the US I was delighted to find Ippodo tea online and ordered my two favorite teas - Sencha and Hojicha. I have now ordered both twice with excellent delivery and I enjoy a cup of each every day.
