Best Green Tea I've Had

This is a very smooth tea. It was everything I was expecting and hoping it would be. Definitely advice following the brewing instructions. The finish is unique with the umami flavors coming through and almost, dare I say, a hint of sweetness. You don't get a bitter bite with the finish that is common with green teas. 10/10 - I will be a frequent consumer of this tea. For context: I purchased the Sencha tea bags at the same time so I would have a comparison. The Sencha tea, from the first impression to the body and finish, presents much more in line with my expectations of a green tea. The Sencha is an exquisite tea, and I will enjoy every cup of it. However the Gyokuro is unparalleled.

Real tea in a bag

I have a hard time getting real, tasty tea to drink at work since it is not easy brewing loose leaf while on the job. Majority of tea bags I find are low quality and use what is essentially tea leaf dust and often tastes metallic or chemical, as if flavor was added to “improve “ the taste of poor tea. This has NOT been the case with this tea bag! It tastes like real loose leaf tea and while smaller pieces of leaves were used, quality does not seem to have taken a hit. I would gladly buy this again so I can have easy to make, real, tasty, and good quality tea at work (instead of just at home).
