An original Ippodo creation, Uji-Shimizu is a matcha-based beverage developed in 1935. It combines matcha powder and sugar to provide an easy to prepare, easy to drink tea for those who prefer their matcha a bit sweeter.
Simply put about 1.5 tbsp. of Uji-Shimizu in a cup or mug. Add water hot or cold and mix with a spoon. It's as simple as that! It tastes great any season, anytime.
- Put Uji-Shimizu in the flask
- Pour on iced water (and close the lid)
- Shake the flask. That's it! It's ready!
15g or 1.5 tbsp of Uji-Shimizu for each 150ml (5 oz.) of water.
Bought this for my boyfriend as he likes drinking this as an alternative to coffee in the morning sometimes. Gives energy throughout the day without the jitters that coffee sometimes gives.
