As Japanese tea specialists in Kyoto since 1717, we produce 6 regular blends of matcha, each with its own character. Relax with plenty of matcha this winter, and explore two different characters to deepen your matcha journey.

In the Bundle:

Full-bodied and smooth. Seiun has round umami, a deep emerald green color, and a sweet aroma.

Recommended serving: Try Seiun straight at least once to experience its full depth. In a latte, its richness combines with the creaminess of the milk, making an almost buttery treat.

Medium-bodied and balanced. A versatile blend and a good starting place for people new to our matcha. Kan has a balance of umami and light bitterness.

Recommended serving: Most drink Kan in a latte, where its light bitterness balances milk’s creaminess perfectly. It’s also delicious straight, where it has a pleasant snappiness and surprising richness.

During this busy holiday season, it’s essential to take time to slow down and reset with purposeful breaks. The smooth energy and rich aroma in a bowl of matcha or a matcha latte keep us focused in the afternoon and help us meet all our end-of-year deadlines.

Serve these matchas side-by-side for a comparison, or enjoy each one at a time. When serving guests, our Tea Bowl with Spout – White (Mino-yaki) is convenient for whisking a large batch of matcha to pour into cups.
